Scaling can be tough, especially if you’re focused on scaling what doesn’t matter.
Are you putting your energy into scaling activities or results? Which are you assessing performance on and incentivizing and celebrating your people for scaling?
I’d bet you want to scale results, so get clear about what those are, what generates them, what inhibits them, how to measure them, and how best to incentivize and celebrate them.
And be open to the notion that sometimes the work of scaling results involves investing in activities that don’t scale.
