If it ain\u2019t broke, don\u2019t fix it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We know <em>this way<\/em>.<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We use<em> this way<\/em> each and every day.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">It\u2019s familiar. We know it inside and out. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><em>Another way<\/em> is theoretical. <em>This way, <\/em>our way, is tried and tested.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We are experts.<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">And we know what we are doing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We like <em>this way<\/em>.<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><em>This way<\/em> is our way.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We feel safe with <em>this way<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We trust <em>this way<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><em>This way <\/em>is comfortable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><em>This way <\/em>is tradition.<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><em>This way <\/em>is our history, our heritage.<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you not value these?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">And what do you know about <em>this way<\/em> anyway?<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">You\u2019re new here. You aren\u2019t familiar with how we do things.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">You don\u2019t do our job. You don\u2019t know <em>this way.<\/em> You can\u2019t relate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">And what expertise can you offer? May we see your credentials? Where is your PhD?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">What experience do you bring to the table?<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Well, isn\u2019t that nice. Your mother must be proud. We have much more though. We\u2019ve been working with <em>this way<\/em> long before you could even Google anything about it \u2013 actually, long before there was a Google.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We don\u2019t trust you.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We don\u2019t respect you.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We think you\u2019re a fool.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We don\u2019t really like you either.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">We don\u2019t understand why <em>this way<\/em> needs to change. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Or maybe we do, but we\u2019re scared. Change is scary sometimes.<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">What does <em>another way<\/em> mean for us? Does this mean we need to change?<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">That can be really scary! And hard. And involve work. We already have so much work to do. And so little time. How are we supposed to manage all this?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Frankly, we\u2019re getting tired of change.<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Can\u2019t you just leave <em>this way<\/em> alone?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Are you questioning <em>this way<\/em> because you are questioning us?<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you not respect us?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you not trust us?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you think you\u2019re smarter than us?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you think you\u2019re better than us?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you think we\u2019re idiots?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you think we\u2019re foolish?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you think we\u2019re lazy?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you think we don\u2019t take pride in what we do?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you think <em>this way<\/em> is no longer relevant?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Do you think we are no longer relevant?<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">That is dreadfully scary!<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">What does that really mean for us? For the people we love? Are we safe?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">What else do you think is no longer relevant?<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">All this is terrifying.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">What if <em>another way<\/em> is challenging?<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">What if we can\u2019t keep up?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">What if <em>another way<\/em> doesn\u2019t work?<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Who will be responsible?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Will you blame us?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">What will happen to our project?<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">And to our other projects?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">And to us?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">What <em>other ways<\/em> are going to start creeping in?<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Is this the first step on the road to <em>all new ways<\/em>?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Will anything be familiar anymore?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Will you change us out for something <em>all new <\/em>too?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Part 2: Overcoming<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><em>This way <\/em>or <em>another way, <\/em>I\u2019m here by your side and I\u2019m rolling up my sleeves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">I\u2019m on your team and we\u2019re all in this together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">And <em>another way <\/em>can be scary for me too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Let\u2019s support one another and together try on <em>another way<\/em> for size.<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">It\u2019s been quite some time since we\u2019ve tried <em>any other way<\/em>. Who knows?
