If you treat only the symptom, it might resolve temporarily, but the underlying problem will get worse and you may very well create more problems\u2014and more symptoms&#8230;which lead to more headaches, frustrations, and costs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you want to address any of these symptoms, then do the work needed to understand the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">root cause<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> so you can tackle the underlying problem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Hint: All the symptoms listed above point to a lack of trust in some form.)<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When it comes to organizational health, don&#8217;t confuse symptoms with the underlying problems.
