successful?<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every innovator, entrepreneur, business owner, freelancer, investor, scientist, artist, designer, creative, salesperson, marketer, and executive I know would surely love to have this superpower.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fact of the matter is, none of us do, and facing this uncertainty can make starting and persisting through complex endeavors daunting, hard, and even scary.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While we can\u2019t know the outcome of complex endeavors from the outset, we can do one simple thing to make it easier for ourselves to set out, show up, and put our best foot forward:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We can acknowledge and accept <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rulenumbersix.ca\/blog\/reality-check\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reality<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reality is that when you\u2019re committing to a complex endeavor, you\u2019re enrolling in a difficult, uncertain, and risky adventure that might not work.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The practice is not in seeking to hack, evade, or eliminate these facts of reality: it\u2019s in noticing and deliberately moving towards the opportunities to learn, experiment, stretch, and take informed risks that won\u2019t sink you, but may lead to meaningful breakthroughs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s also in trusting that regardless of wherever your challenging adventure may lead and the actual outcome, you\u2019ll improve your skills and capabilities of acting on the world by committing to an endeavor and taking action.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wouldn\u2019t
